Three trades, one accountable team.
Most homes need an electrician, a plumber and a solar installer — and most owners end up managing three contractors who blame each other. BN Dreamlight was built to remove that problem.
We started in 2015 as a two-man electrical outfit in Gauteng. Plumbing came next, then solar, as load-shedding turned backup power from a luxury into a necessity. Today the same team can rewire a DB board, re-pipe a bathroom and commission a hybrid inverter — and one project manager answers for all of it.
Every electrical installation is signed off with a Certificate of Compliance. Every plumbing job is done by a PIRB-registered plumber. No sub-contracting to whoever is available.

Do you charge a call-out fee?
No call-out fee for quotes inside our standard service area. For emergency after-hours attendance a fixed call-out applies, and we tell you the amount on the phone before we dispatch.
What is a Certificate of Compliance and do I need one?
A CoC certifies that your electrical installation meets SANS 10142-1. You need a valid one when you sell a property, and most insurers will ask for it after an electrical claim. We issue a CoC on every electrical installation we complete.
How big a solar system do I actually need?
It depends on what you want to keep running, not on the size of your roof. We start from your last three municipal bills and the appliances you can’t lose, then size the panels, inverter and battery around that. Most homes that only want load-shedding backup need far less than they expect.
Can you find a leak without breaking the walls?
In most cases, yes. We use acoustic and pressure testing to locate the leak first and only open the section we need to reach. You’ll see the findings before any breaking starts.
Which areas do you cover?
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Centurion and the surrounding suburbs. We do travel further for solar installations — send us the address and we’ll confirm.
How soon can you start?
Repairs are usually same or next day. Full installations depend on stock and scope — typically five to ten working days from an accepted quote, and we give you a date in writing.
